Amazing Ancient Technology of the Beautiful Japanese Hakone Marquetry - Woodworking Skillful

Hello Everybody,
For this month, a lot of people who loved my previous videos have asked me to show them the skills of the great master artisans (very few people alive) and even older but they’re still trying day-by-day to pass on traditional values to the next generations.

To thank and honor them, we decided to create a series of video shows about them and their work from the footage available from my friends and myself.

Everything has been redone. I have edited the script, rewrote the content, new effects work, new music, new footage added and a new creation is created as follows: "Amazing Ancient Technology of the Beautiful Japanese Hakone Marquetry - Woodworking Skillful"

Today, this video will probably be more appealing because of the appearance of master Yosegi marquetry Craftsman: Tanegi Zukuri

And Master Tsuya: www.hamamatsuya.co.jp

Impressive! I'm a woodworker also, but quite different. I make large 2.5 inch thick hardwood tables, some are 8 ft by 3.5 ft. I'm such a rough carpenter, I use concrete nails to secure angle irons for table legs. Still, I fully appreciate the minute detail of Hakone.

The yoputh of today have lost appreciation of what goes into something this delicate and precise. It's all about the plastic automation. Hopefully one day the world will go back to this kind of appreciation. These artisans are a dying breed. I hope we never loose it completely.

When people ask who would you like to meet I usually don't have an answer. A character is not a person, a image is never reality. Also I like my private life so I never want to meet anyone. What I would like to do is ask if someone like this man would have some time for me to sit down and watch the work. It's perfect. There is nothing that needs improvement. I respect his work. I finally found some answer to my questions and I still don't fully comprehend all the reasons why Japan is such a calming place. Its like finally your brain is calm, clear and fully working in peace.
